Salsa a la Parth
Ingredients
- 1 can black beans
- 1 lime
- 1 avocado
- 1/4 red onion, diced
- 1/2 cup corn
- 1 tomato
- 1 green jalapeno, sliced and diced
- 1/4 tsp cumin powder
- cilantro
- pinch of pepper
- salt to taste
To make it Edible
- Rinse and drain the black beans, and add them to a pot
- Add diced onions, jalapenos, tomato, and corn to the pot
- Chop your avocado into 1/8" x 1/8" cubes and add to the mix
- Add the salt, cumin, lime, and pepper
- Mix CAREFULLY. Make sure you're not mashing the avocado and black beans into a paste.
- Consume more than you had promised yourself because this mix is somehow actually really good(??)

I best enjoy this with cup style chips!

Des Haricots Rouges
Ingredients
- 1 can red chilli beans
- 1/4 red onion, chopped into medium sized pieces
- 1/4 cup sweet peas
- 1/2 green, red, yellow peppers
- 1/2 cup brocolli flowers
- 1 tsp garlic, finely chopped
- 1/2 chopped tomato
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- turmeric powder
- red chilli powder
- garam masala
To make it Edible
- Add cumin seeds to olive oil, once heated. Saute till translucent
- Add garlic and 1 pinch of turmeric to the pot and mix for a couple minutes
- Mix into the pot broccoli, peppers and sweet peas
- Stir the mixture until even, and cover with a lid for 4–5 minutes
- Empty the can of beans into the pot; add red chilli powder, garam masala. Mix till even
- After about 2–3 minutes, add the chopped tomatoes and mix well
- Cover and let simmer for 4–5 minutes
Notes
I usually enjoy this recipe by itself, like a chilli, or with rice, or warmed up tortilla.
General Ho's Chicken
Ingredients
- 2 chicken breasts, skinless, boneless
- 1/3 chopped onion, medium sized pieces
- 1 thai chilli, finely chopped
- 1.5 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp red chilli powder
- dash of ginger powder
- dash of turmeric
- 1–2 seconds' squirt of Sriracha sauce
- 2 tbsp olive oil
To make it Edible
- Cut the chicken into 1" x 2.5" pieces
- Add the chicken, onion, garlic powder, red chilli powder, Sriracha, olive oil, and salt to a pot
- Mix thoroughly, and let it marinate for 1–2 hours
- Sear the chicken pieces on a hot pan for ~6 minutes on each side; the color should look like light milk chocolate
- Make sure the chicken is properly cooked throughout!
Notes
Garnish with chopped cilantro if you like! I like eating this by itself, or with anything else, really!
